Manufactures of fabric, from which Łódź is known, that are now renewed - one of them is even giant and elegant shopping and entertainment centre. Łódź is full of palaces and villas of former owners of those manufactures, most of them is free to visit. Tenement houses with beautiful ornaments and high cellings are bread and butter of Łódź, not only at the Piotrkowska Street (the most popular and representative street full restaurants and clubs, and art galleries, book stores, etc.) but all over the city. Other buildings are often covered with street art and murals. You cold even take a free of charge trip that will take you through all of them.
